Has it really been a decade?

Happy Birthday Christian! We are so grateful for Christian in our family! He has been a wonderful start to our children. He is such a great example to his sisters. He is very calm, quiet, sensitive and has a mind that never stops. He is curious about everything and often says, "I have a question". Many of his questions need to be looked up. One time, I found out that Aaron ran back to the internet, found the answer and then looked real smart that he knew the answer. He loves his cousins and he loves boys! It is such great day for him when he gets to spend some time with dad or with one of his boy buddies. He is a great musician and loves to play the piano. Christian also loves mathmatics, and recently was given the invitation to test out of 5th grade math for next year and start 6th grade math. He has been studying the 5th grade math book this summer so he can do that. He also loves scouts, baseball, basketball and playing video games. He is growning his own pumpkin plant this year and is hoping for a pumpkin by halloween. We love our gentle giant!

More of Disneyland!

I thought this picture was really cool! Ammon and Meliah were pretty excited that Tigger came and patted their heads! So, I must post this picture because there is a hilarious story behind it. We were watching a parade, the kids were all sitting on the curb, and unfortunately we sat in a position that we all had to look to our left to see anything. There was a lady standing right on the edge of the curb that was standing up impeding the kids from seeing a whole lot. Davis is sitting by her and I was sitting in a position that I could see all the kids trying to see around her. It was really a funny sight! After the parade, Davis' sword thing ended up missing! Evidently that same lady thought it was her son's and grabbed it and put it in her bag. We asked her if she had seen it! She was a bit embarrassed when she realized she had two of them. Davis was happy and we now have a funny story!

The cousins all had a blast spending time together. Elizabeth and Sophie just loved each other. Liam and Preston had a crush on Meliah! Christian really enjoyed spending time with his boy cousins.

We loved getting caught up on everything with Holly and Stephen. It was really great to see how well they are doing and how happy they are! We sure do love them and wish we lived a little closer!

Disneyland!

Don't get too excited yet, cuz I don't have the cord to download the pictures here at the hotel. I just wanted to share how great these kids are! 8 kids, all 8 and under going to Disneyland has been a complete blast so far. My dear mother had to leave early to go to her nephew's funeral. Uncle Martin died on Saturday. He was like a brother to her (born only 1 day apart). She set everything up for us to come and spend 5 days here and isn't even able to be a part of it, except for the planning and the $. It has been such an amazing experience for the kids and for Kathryn, Lindsay and I. They are such great moms and handle things so well! I have gotten to know the kids better and I have just enjoyed their personalities so much. One more full day tomorrow and then we get to spend a couple of days with Aaron's brother's family, Holly, Stephen, Preston, Liam and Sophie! We haven't seen them for over 4 years, so we are really looking forward to getting together with them again this weekend. I'll be posting a ton of pictures when we return next week.

We all laughed so hard because this kitten just loves Christian's face. It looked like they were kissing!
Meliah was so happy and just posing for the camera so perfectly and then ouch, that little thing has sharp claws!
I just couldn't resist... this picture is pretty cool cuz you can even see her tear! I'm so bad!

Thank goodness for the mama cat and these kittens, otherwise Lizzy wouldn't be so entertained.


Just thought I'd share these pictures of the kids begin so cute with the kittens! The kids love these little cute creatures so much it's hard to give them away. It's been a really fun experience having them!

Does anyone want a Kitten?

This is our mother cat, Shelby

If there is anyone that it interested in our kittens we have 2 left. 3 of them have been spoken for. One of the white ones have been claimed but I'm not sure about the rest. The mother has been an incredible, sweet, loving cat... which is a good sign because usually the kittens follow suit. Elizabeth, 4, has been very playful and even rough with Shelby (the mama cat) at times and has never been scratched or bitten. We believe the mama breeded with a grey striped tabby cat. We cannot actually tell what their genders are yet but we are guessing that there are 3 females and 2 males. We would love to send them away by June 12th, so contact us if you are interested and could provide a good loving home for them!
